I just did a party place at the last minute that had a $10.00 bonus if I did it that day. They had a $5.00 reimbursement. I selected $10.00 worth of valentine’s day cards to give to family members as my purchase. The bonus will pay for the cards with me keeping the 5.00 reimbursement. So I still made out ok.
All she wants is money. The last bank I MS’d would not give me any free samples. Stupid bank!
I did a Party store shop two weeks ago and was able to purchase my Valentine’s day decorations. Now I’m waiting for my check and I’ll have my decorations re-imbursed!

You said you could get DRESSED for going out for you or your husband with reimbursements. A suit,shoes,a bag a tie.I do a lot of purchase/return shops at Coach. I have to purchase a bag that costs no less then $300.00. If I kept it, I would not be reimbursed.I have to purchase something at Foot Locker.I get reimbursed $5.00.You cannot buy much more then shoe polish for that price. I can spend $5.00 at Olympia Sports. All you could buy is candy for that amount. Whole Foods reimburses $15.00. That is the most any shop has offered me so far. I have been a shopper for 9 years. At most of the stores where a purchase is required, you only get a small amount back. (I.E. from between $1.00 to $5.00) You cannot purchase anything substantial for the reimbursement you are offered. The fees are low..I LOVE Mystery Shopping, but anyone that tells you you can eat FREE….or buy shoes, bags, suits, pants, jewlery…etc…is not telling the WHOLE truth.I have shopped at very high end restaurants. I have enjoyed the food…but the reports are very long and very detailed. It is hard, if not impossible, to do these shops without taking notes or talking into your phone..One waitress who met me outside of her restaurant told me,”We always spot shoppers because they are taking notes..AND the high end fancy restaurants always cost more.Barcelona gives $85.00. The fondue shop pays almost that much. It costs much more then that for dinner for 2. The up-scale restaurants are very expensive..It is a great part-time job, BUT the pay is much too low for the services we offer.You could not live on Mystery Shopping alone. The ads on-line tell you, “Eat free, get free clothes,shoes,hats, suits for yourself and your family, FREE FREE FREE…are not telling it ALL…..But I do love Mystery Shopping and select the shops I choose to do and ALWAYS ask for a BONUS. I usually get it.
